1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Mezi VPN application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Mezi VPN provides a free, ad-supported virtual private network (VPN) service that encrypts your internet connection and routes it through our secure servers using the WireGuard protocol.
- Free for All Users: Mezi VPN is 100% free to use. There are no in-app purchases, paid subscriptions, or premium tiers. All users have access to the full set of server locations and features.
- Daily Usage Quota: Free usage is provided in time-limited sessions. Each user receives a daily allocation of VPN connection time.
- Rewarded Ads: Users may choose to watch rewarded video ads to earn additional VPN connection time (+20 minutes per ad viewed). Watching ads is entirely voluntary and optional.
- Ad-Supported: The Service is funded through advertisements displayed via Google AdMob, including banner ads, interstitial ads, rewarded video ads, and app open ads.
3. App Usage and Device IDs
Mezi VPN does not require traditional account registration. Your access is tied to an anonymous, device-specific identifier (Device ID). You are responsible for any activity associated with your device's use of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for devices that are associated with violations of these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Mezi VPN only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:
- Engage in any illegal activity under applicable local, national, or international law
- Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam)
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other computer systems or networks
- Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or network
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or third parties
- Circumvent, manipulate, or abuse the ad reward system or usage quota
Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your access to the Service.
5. Advertisements and Rewarded Ads
Ad-Supported Model: Mezi VPN is entirely funded by advertisements. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that ads will be displayed during your use of the app.
Rewarded Video Ads: You may voluntarily choose to watch rewarded video ads to receive additional VPN connection time. Each rewarded ad viewed grants +20 minutes of VPN usage. This is entirely optional — you are never required to watch an ad.
Ad Provider: Advertisements are served by Google AdMob. By using the Service, you also agree to Google's applicable terms regarding ad delivery. Google AdMob may collect certain device and usage data to serve and measure ads, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Ad Blocking: Attempting to block, circumvent, or interfere with the display of advertisements within the app is a violation of these Terms and may result in suspension of access to the Service.
6. No-Logs Policy
Mezi VPN maintains a strict no-logs policy. We do not monitor, record, log, store, or share your browsing activity, connection logs, DNS queries, IP addresses, or the content of your internet traffic while you are connected to our VPN servers.
We collect only the minimal technical data necessary to operate the Service (such as aggregate bandwidth usage and connection timestamps), which cannot be used to identify your online activity. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible)
- Emergency maintenance or security updates
- Factors beyond our control (internet outages, natural disasters, etc.)
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.
8. Intellectual Property
The Mezi VPN application, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is the intellectual property of Mezi VPN and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mezi VPN and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
As the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed ten US dollars (USD $10).
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
- The Service will provide complete anonymity or protection in all circumstances
- Rewarded ad credits will always be available or function without interruption
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mezi VPN, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. You may also delete your account data through the app's settings. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
